After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers he's actually stranded on Earth -- 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at a rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures.

Long before human history, on the distant technologically advanced planet of Somar, pilot Mills convinces his wife, Alya, that she should go on a two-year space trip to earn the money needed to treat their daughter Nevine's illness. However, on the way back to Somar, his spaceship Zoic hits asteroids and crashes on an unexplored planet. After his ship is damaged and split in two, he finds his passengers dead and contemplates suicide until he finds the sole survivor, a young girl named Koa. Mills decides to take care of Koa. However, they have communication difficulties due to different languages and a broken translator.
